A newly released study shows the most popular Halloween candy by state.

As you can see Nebraska got Hot Tamales, as did our friend’s to the north, North Dakota.

But Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups proved to be the most popular candy, winning out in 12 states.

Airheads, Nerds, Sweetarts and Gummy Worms were the least popular.

Bid-On-Equipment conducted the study of around 2,000 people.

They estimate people with kids will spend on average more than 35 dollars on Halloween candy, that’s 10 dollars more than the national average.

Another interesting finding, was that 48 percent of Americans supported moving the holiday to the last Saturday in October.
